N O T I C E :  The $ 100.00 discount to each additional family member when taking the course together applies only when tuition is prepaid in full of all concerned with the registration.  Otherwise the regular rate will be charged per person for the Complete Sailing Course.

10   ADVANCED  SAILING  ONE  COURSE
Friday, November 10th, A-1#051 shall begin its four-week program.  As customary, priority is given to the recent graduates and if available, the free spaces are completed with the stand-byes.  Course will run Fridays 6:30 to 8:30 pm, and Sundays 2:00 to 5:00 pm.  Prepaid reservations are required at $ 300/person for a total of 22 hours of higher level of instruction.  This is the second step towards the coveted Coastal Navigation certification.

14    COMPLETE  SAILING  COURSE
Another of those wonderful, wonderful courses that not only initiate a beginner on the right track, but are so valuable for people with some previous training, will start on Tuesday, November 14th.  This will be #113, Shift "B" and will run on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 to 10:00 pm, on Saturdays from 9:00 to 1:00 pm.
These 60-hour courses, based on European parameters and legal requirements in Europe, Middle East and South America, apart of the most essential subjects required for a competent and safe operation of a sailing vessel, include two written tests and the final practical on-water exam.  Correct completion brings the successful student the coveted Skipper Diploma for vessels of up to 30'LOA.  At the incredible cost of $ 10 / hour, for a high performance sailing yacht within the 30' category and a certified instructor, this is an ideal opportunity for people attracted to sailing as well as a proper discipline for those who have sailed previously but harbor doubts about their own vessel control.
Applicants on the stand-by list are advised in the order their request was received.  Maximum number of students per training vessel is six, to insure permanent attention of the instructor to each student.

Courses require advanced reservation with a $ 50.00 performance deposit, the balance payable at the first meeting of the class, unless otherwise solicited and approved.  Reservation may be re-scheduled up to 72 hours prior to the course start.  Later notice results in loss of the payment.  Once confirmed, they are non-refundable.  Duration is eight weeks.
26       WESTPHAL  CLASS  CLINIC
We shall repeat the Westphal clinic as numerous Soling sailors are a little confused with the simplicity of that rig.  The cost of this course will amply pay for the costly mistakes you might make, being unaware of certain qualities of that particular design.  Especially the exaggerated inertia of this vessel comes as a big surprise to those accustomed to the famous three-boat-length distance in many instances.  This clinic is priceless for the renters who have never sailed a Westphal.
The next one-shot clinic is scheduled for Sunday, November  26th and it comes as an excellent therapy after all that food and drinks you have consumed during the past few days.  This course deals with fundamental differences and safety issues related to this boat.  Course is 4 hours, starting at 2:00 pm promptly.  Prepaid reservations are required.  Maximum of 8 students will be admitted.  Additional clinics will be staged as more people sign up.  Cost is $ 40/student, $ 60/guest.
PRIVATE  INSTRUCTION
There exists a certain misunderstanding with regards of the private instruction fees.  Instruction for one person is $ 50/hour, for two or more $ 70/hour.  No fractions.  Over 10 minutes and full hour is due.  If you do not wish to pay more than you plan, please advise the instructor accordingly.
The only exception in these charges is for students while they are in an ongoing course and they fear they have stayed behind, or they lost an on-water class due to illness or travel.  In such special case the fee is only $ 35/person, $ 50/two or more/hour.

Dec 5 COMPLETE  SAILING  COURSE

Same as the previous one in November, this will be a #114 shift "N" course, running the "late shift" on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:30 to 10:00 pm, and on Sundays from 9:00 to 1:00 pm. Cost is the same, only $ 10 / hour for a high-tech vessel and a certified instructor.  The entire course is $ 600.  To ensure your place, don't delay sending the Registration Form and the deposit of $ 50 the moment you decide you wish to take it.  Partial personal schedule conflicts may have a solution.  Call us.  Other conditions  are the same as explained in the paragraph of CSC#113, starting on November 14th.

N O T I C E :  Please remember three things when you rent a boat: a security deposit must be on our files, rental is prepaid in full with the reservation, and Florida sales tax must be included with the payment.  Please follow these rules.
